Passing of Washington Savage
As some of you know, the Toronto and global music community lost
one of its lights in the person of
Washington Savage
late last week. Washington (Blaxam, Maestro Fresh Wes,
Jeff Healey, etc.) was a musician, singer, arranger and
songwriter, just to name a few of his many talents. He
happily encouraged many of the Toronto music community that we
listen to today and have listened to over the years.
There is a musical tribute being planned at the Palais Royale at
a date yet to be confirmed.
